I don't know if you'll remember me from our email exchanges over the years about my submissions to storysouth and thicket, but regardless, I just read your new poem in Diagram, and wow, what a great piece. very powerful writing. i especially
like the line about vulcan, and the idea that the red light can burn for some, but not others. i lived in bham for years, so all of it drew me in.
